The impact-resistant metal valve, handle, and lever, as well as the powder coated cylinder for corrosion protection allow for long-lasting durability. And the UL-approved wall hanger will ensure easy placement in any part of the office or building.
Product Specifications
• Discharge time of 19-21 seconds
• Discharge range of 20 feet
• Operating pressure of 195 psi
• Unit weight of 16 pounds, which includes the 10 pounds of fire extinguishing agent
• UL rated 4-A, 60 B-C
We where looking for a strong fire extinguisher that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg, and it had to be good quality; enter the Kidde brand of fire extinguishers.
I'm not a huge fan of those little under the sink fire extinguishers, they're not going to do much more than kill out a tiny cooking fire; so when I decided to get more serious about fire safety I had two sizes in mind (and you'll find this identical review on them both here) a 7lb and 17lb, something that I could easily carry, and something that would give a fighting chance on an actual small fire emergency (please let the professionals deal with any sort of substantial fire emergency).
This product is great for its size, price point, and weight; and the brand is a quality one that you can trust.
